  • Summary: Review for Rick Steves' Paris
  • Comment: I recently went to Paris, and this guidebook was very helpful. It's light enough to bring with you everyday. I really liked how it told you which sites were free with the Paris museum pass, while other guidebooks didn't really mention that. I also liked how the book told you what times and which entrances were less crowded for certain popular tourist sites. All of the information was up to date and I did not find any mistakes.

  • Comment: As always, Rick's books are a goldmine of information & history. In this book I found a hotel that no other book ever even mentions, located on an island next to Notra Dame, no one could find a better base of operations. Rick writes for the common man in a style that makes you want to pack up & leave on that trip ASAP. He is my travel guru!!

  • Comment: Where other guide books will simply tell you where to go, this one describes destinations in ways that make you want to visit them. It's thorough, highly helpful, and fun to read, particularly it's little human touches, plus its hand-drawn maps. Don't head for Paris without first reading this perfect travel guide.
